The 27th Annual Desert Challenge Intercollegiate Dancesport Championships will be held at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) April 21 & 22, 2017 (Friday/Saturday). The competition is for students enrolled in a university, college, community college, or technical academy and offers events in both the American and International styles of dance as well as social dances including Lindy Hop, Salsa, Hustle, West Coast Swing, and Argentine Tango

Spectator tickets are $5 for Friday Evening and $10 for all day Saturday.

Dance With Me ballroom dance studio had it’s grand opening yesterday March 9, 2017. The studio is located in Tivoli village and is the 9th studio in the Dance With Me chain and first in the chain in Nevada. The chain was founded by Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Aleksandr Chmerkovskiy, and Jhanna Volynets and partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy, and Tony Dovolani.

The NV Ball is the next major competition in Las Vegas. It will be held August 16-19, 2017 at the M Resort, Spa, & Casino.
